The School of Economics and Business welcomes Professor Tomaž Turk as the new Dean for the period 2023-2027. Acknowledging the massive shoes he has to fill, Professor Turk expresses profound respect and gratitude. “Your trust is both an honour and an immense responsibility for me. My focus will be on the people, addressing the challenges posed by the external environment. Connectivity, operationality, and leading by example are keys to our success,” says the new Dean.

Dr. Tomaž Turk, a stalwart in business informatics and logistics, has been instrumental in shaping the school’s curriculum in information systems management, economics of information technology, and related subjects.
